During the 1987-88 NBA season Boston Celtics' mainstay center Robert Parish was a force to be reckoned with. Already in his eighth season in Boston the 34-year-oldParish helped lead the Celtics to a 57-25 regular-season record and another Eastern Conference Atlantic Division title by averaging 14.3 points and 8.5 rebounds per game. This lot features Parish's 1987-88 Boston Celtics game worn home jersey.
The white nylon mesh jersey which shows incredible wear reads "CELTICS" across the front in sewn-on green tackle twill lettering with his trademark uniform number "00" just below the team name also in green tackle twill. It's sporting a pair of proper manufacturer's tags on the left front tail: "Designed & Tailored Exclusively for BOSTON CELTICS" and the official "MacGregor Sand Knit [size] 44." The NBA's official red white and blue embroidered logo adorns the left shoulder area. The back of the jersey reads "PARISH" across the shoulders in green tackle twill and "00" underneath in like tackle twill fashion. The Celtics' trademark green and white elastic knit adorns the collar and arm openings. The back of the jersey has at least foursubstantial rips on it which shows just how hard the future Hall of Famer played night in and night out.
Includes LOA the family of former NBA agent Bob Woolf.
