This team-signed basketball commemorates the legendary 1986-87 Los Angeles Lakers, who captured the NBA Championship behind one of the most talented rosters in franchise history. The official Spalding NBA game ball, bearing Commissioner David Stern's stamped signature, carries autographs across both panels including Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Magic Johnson, James Worthy, A.C. Green, and Mychal Thompson, among other key contributors to that championship squad.

 

Most signatures are applied in black marker directly to the pebbled leather surface, with autographs showing the expected fading and contrast loss typical of marker ink on basketball leather, though names remain legible upon close inspection. The ball itself shows honest game-used style wear to the surface consistent with handling and display over time. This Showtime-era championship roster, anchored by two of the greatest players in NBA history, remains one of the most celebrated dynasties in league history. PSA/DNA has authenticated the team signing.

Payment for your invoice must clear in full prior to shipping. All items will be shipped from SCP Auctions’ Laguna Niguel, CA office in the order that payments are received. Please allow up to three business days following clearance of payment for items to ship. All items will be shipped UPS/FedEx Ground unless you contact us to discuss an alternative shipping method.
