Very popular Los Angeles Kings center Bernie Nicholls autographed stick and road helmet game used during the 1986-87 season in which he would score 33 goals and have 48 assists. In his 9 year stay with the Kings Nicholls would score 327 goals and 431 assists. In 1988-89 playing with Wayne Gretzky he had a career high 70 goals and 80 assists.
Bernie Nicholls autographed VICTORIAVILLE game used stick has "B. NICHOLLS" stamped on shaft with a "9" in black marker written above. On the side in 8-9/10 blue ink is written "To Johnny Best Wishes Bernie Nicholls". Black tape wrapped around blade with white tape wrapped around top of handle and knob. Stick exhibits excellent game use. Great memento from one of the most popular Kings ever to wear the jersey.
CCM purple road helmet has white "9" applied to back. Helmet exhibits excellent game use.
LOA from Los Angeles Kings for stick & helmet. Includes a Letter of Provenance from The Newport Sports Museum.
