Julius Erving was the most dominant and influential player of his era an innovator who changed the way the game was played. He was a wizard with the ball performing feats never before seen: midair spins and whirls punctuated by powerful slam dunks. Erving was one of the first players to make extemporaneous individual expression an integral part of the game setting the style of play that would prevail in the decades to follow. A gracious dignified and disciplined man Erving was the epitome of class and an ideal ambassador for the game On the front tail of the jersey is the "Wilson" manufacturer's size "40" tag with wash instructions. Attached below this tag is a white tag with "+2 LONG" written on it. Above that is the "Pearson Sporting Goods" distributors tag. Across the front of the jersey is "SIXERS" in blue on red tackle twill. Below that and on the back of the jersey is the player number "6" in blue on red tackle twill. Across the back is "ERVING" in blue tackle twill. The jersey is autographed on front in black maker with "85-85 Season" added and rates a 9. On the back inside below the waistband is the "Wilson" manufacturer's tag with size "36" on it. Below this tag is an embroidered tag with "86" on it. The jersey and shorts show game-use and appear to have no alterations of any kind.
