Michael Jeffrey Jordan from North Carlina was was the third player selected in the 1984 draft. He was drafted by the Chicago Bulls and the rest was history; six-time NBA Champion five-time MVP ten-time NBA First Team 14-time All Star the list goes on! But it all started in the 1984-85 season when he would take the league by storm scoring over 2000 points averaging over 28 per game. On October 26 1984 against the Washington Bullets before a less than capacity crowd Michael Jordan made his professional debut for the Chicago Bulls scoring 16 points as the Bulls beat the Bullets 109-83. Jordan would go on to revitalize the NBA instantly turning a sagging league with poor attendance into one of the most widely watched sports in the world. From Michael Jordan's rookie campaign in 1984-85 comes this historic Chicago Bulls team-signed Spalding Official NBA basketball with 13 signatures including MJ. There are 12 other signatures here in black marker including Orlando Wooldridge Quintin Dailey Sidney Green Dave Corzine Rod Higgins and others. The ball appears to be in as-issued and problem-free condition.
