They didn’t call Wayne Gretzky “The Great One” for nothing. In the history of the sport no player has been as dominating for as long as Gretzky. When he retired in 1999, he held a staggering 40 regular season records, 15 playoff records, and 6 All-Star records. This action Type 1 photo shows “The Great One” blowing past a defender during the 1983 season. The front of the photo has slight creasing on the left side of its wide borders. The reverse has the Denis Courville/Le Presse credit stamp, a 3-Mai 1983 date stamp, and tape residue. The photograph measures 10” x 8” and has been encapsulated and graded a Type 1 by PSA.
