1983-86 University of Southern California Trojans reversible practice jersey worn by 3 time Naismith College Player of the Year Cheryl Miller. Miller led USC to NCAA titles in both 1983 and 1984 and was named the NCAA Tournament MVP both years. Miller is a member of both the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield Massachusetts and the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame located in Knoxville Tennessee and the FIBA Hall of Fame for her international play. She left college after scoring 3018 points good for 6th on the All-Time NCAA Scoring list. In terms of legacy Reggie is her brother not the other way around.
The practice jersey is gold on one side with "USC" and "31" on front and "31" on back all letters in numbers coming in Trojan red. When reversed the color scheme flip flops. Russell Athletic Misses L size tag sewn near side seam. Jersey displays good use throughout. Also included are a pair of protective eye goggles worn by the hall of Fame forward in practice and games. Masking tape covers around the ears with "CM" in black marker written on one side. Nice pair of items from one of the greatest Women's college players in NCAA history!
Includes a Letter of Provenance from The Newport Sports Museum.
