The 1982 Masters Tournament was held from April 8 through 11 at the Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta Georgia. Craig Stadler a.k.a. "The Walrus" won his only major championship on the first sudden-death playoff hole over runner-up Dan Pohl. This lot features Stadlers tournament-used Dunlop MaxFli pro model sand wedge from his Masters-winning season. The 36 long sand wedge exhibits incredible usage with rust evident across the face of the club and heavy wear on its Swing Rite rubber grip.
Includes Letter of Provenance from the Newport Sports Museum.
