Los Angeles King's Hall of Fame center Marcel Dionne's 1981 Team Canada CCM PPM 101 game used stick signed by over 20 members of the Canadian team. Among the 7-8/10 blue ink signatures are Barry Beck Ray Bourque Mike Bossy Marcel Dionne Ron Duguay Danny Gare Bob Gainey Wayne Gretzky Craig Hartsburg Guy LaFleur Ken Linesman Larry Robinson Don Edwards Mike Liut and Red Berenson. The 1981 Canada Cup was the 2nd tournament held between the 8 major hockey playing nations. Canada faced the Soviet Union in the final game losing to the Russian team in an 8-1 rout. Even after the final game controversy reigned after Canadian hockey officials accompanied by Montreal Police prevented the Soviet team from taking the Canada Cup trophy back to the Soviet Union. "M DIONNE" stamped on side of shaft. 81 Canada Cup logo in blade. "CANADA CUP/COUPE CANADA stamped on blade. Clear tape covering blade. Evidence of tape being removed from top of shaft. Stick display good game use.
Includes a Letter of Provenance from The Newport Sports Museum.
