From the great Reggie Jackson comes this nifty pair of Size 11 Pony spikes from the 1980's during his time with the California Angels toward the close of his Hall of Fame career. Just pondering the possibility that these standout shoes might have been worn to witness one of his majestic home runs - out of a whopping 563 - is reason enough for excitement. The shoes are in wonderful condition show a good bit of game use but remaining problem free and intact and without alteration. His No. 44 and "Jax" have apparently been penned by hand in black marker on the white leather section on the heel. Simply a wonderful artifact from one of the most exciting players in the game in the 1970's and 1980's.
Includes a Letter of Provenance from The Newport Sports Museum.
