This is a handsome game-worn and autographed home Angels jersey from six-time All-Star Bobby Grich one of the top second baseman in the American League for more than a decade from the mid-1970's to mid-1980's. He set an all-time major league fielding record with a .995 fielding percentage and 12 seasons later in 1985 broke the record again (.997). He won four consecutive Gold Glove Awards appeared in the World Series in 1970 and 1971 and played in the American League Championship Series in 1973 and 1974 when Baltimore lost to Oakland. The Angels made their first three postseason appearances during Grich's tenure. Over 17 seasons Grich batted .266 with 224 home runs 864 RBI 1033 runs 1833 hits and a .371 on-base percentage in 2008 games. This attractive white pullover garment features "Angels" across the chest in red-on-navy tackle twill with a yellow tackle twill halo around the "A." Grich's No. 4 has been sewn to the front left and back in red-on-navy tackle twill. Each sleeve and the collar bear a navy-red-navy knitted stripe accent and the left sleeve bears a California state patch. A Wilson main label size 44 with laundry instructions appears on the left front tail with a small white swatch reading "80" in navy stitching. Grich has signed on the front right in black marker. Jersey shows light wear and is in all respects problem free and unaltered.
