Presented is a match-worn Soviet Union (CCCP) National Team home jersey from a June 15, 1980 friendly against Brazil, worn by celebrated midfielder Yuriy Gavrilov and preserved in the Oscar Collection.
The short-sleeve jersey is constructed in solid red polyester, featuring a white crew-neck collar with green and white trim detailing and white adidas three-stripe detailing along the shoulders. The left chest bears the embroidered Soviet state emblem badge featuring the hammer and sickle on a globe, framed by wheat sheaves in the distinctive CCCP national football style. Bold white block lettering "CCCP" appears prominently across the chest in the iconic style associated with Soviet international football. The reverse displays a bold applied white "#9" numeral. The jersey presents with moderate wear consistent with match use, showing fabric softening and minor soiling consistent with its age and use.

The Oscar Bernardi Collection
This shirt comes from the personal collection of José Oscar Bernardi, better known as Oscar, who played for the Brazil National Team from 1977 to 1986. Included is a letter of provenance signed by Oscar. Most jerseys in the collection were obtained directly through player swaps after competition. Others were acquired via gifts or trade with footballers in Oscar’s wide network of teammates and friends. At age 71, he still resides in Brazil and is ready for his collection to be appreciated by others in the hobby.
