Reggie Jackson’s arrival in the Yankees lineup in 1977 marked the return of championship baseball in the Bronx. Jackson proved to be the “straw that stirs the drink” as he helped lead the Yanks to World Championships in 1977, 1978, and 1981.This bat dates to the 1980 season in which Reggie hit an even .300 and smashed a league-leading 41 home runs as the Bronx Bombers won the AL East championship. Reggie’s Adirondack '288RJ' Professional Model bat shows excellent game use with a handle crack. There are several ball marks found on the left, right, and back barrel along with white ball scuffs. The handle shows a light coat of pine tar, and the knob has been stamped with the model number and order number. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA and has been graded a GU 8.5.
