Offered here is a beautiful pair of 1979 Pittsburgh Pirates World Champions Cufflinks produced by Balfour. The face of each cufflink is unique in that one features the Pirates logo and the opposite features the World Series Trophy honoring their memorable season. The phrase “World Champions” runs across the top of each cufflink. The cufflinks are gold filled and remain in excellent condition other than a few minor blemishes. Pittsburgh outlasted the Baltimore Orioles in a full seven-game series to go on to win their 5th World Series in organization history. The team was led by World Series MVP Willie Stargell.
