Unique signed Promissory Note from New York Yankees hero, team captain Thurman Munson.
Munson had already hit for the baseball award "cycle" of Rookie of the Year ('70), seven time All-Star, AL MVP ('76) and two time World Series champion by age 32, when he tragically passed away in a plane crash in 1979. That in-season event rocked the baseball world, and sports world in general.
This Beckett encapsulated gem displays Munson's full signature in sharp blue ballpoint and is date stamped February 21, 1978.
