1979 Alabama 10K Gold NCAA Football National Championship ring given Senior Tight End Tim Travis. Alabama won the undisputed National Championship based on their perfect 12-0 record. Large CZ on top surrounded by "1979 National Champions". "Alabama" "12-0" Sugar Bowl 24-9" "SEC Champions" and Sugar Bowl trophy on one side with large "A" "Crimson Tide" and a raised image of a university building on the other. Inside stamped "Jostens 10K" and engraved in script with the name "Travis" in script. Comes in a crimson colored ring box. Ring size 12 1/4. Weight 20 grams.
