Dave "Tiger" Williams it could be said was hated throughout the NHL during his career but loved by the fans of the team he happened to be playing for. Over his career he played on five different NHL teams. While in Toronto he broke many Maple Leaf and NHL penalty minute records and led the league in penalty minutes twice with 338 in 197677 and 298 in 197879. During his best season in Toronto he scored 22 goals in 55 games before being traded to the Vancouver Canucks part way through that season. He finished his 14-year career with a total of 513 points.

This handsome blue Maple Leafs jersey has the Maska tagging at the collar which has separated on three side but still attached and an adjacent Size 50 wash instruction tag. Maska imprinting appears in white on the hem of the tail on each hip. The white tackle twill Maple Leafs logo appears at the front of the shirt with blue embroidered "Toronto Maple Leafs"; his name appears on the back in white tackle twill letters affixed to a blue nameplate. His No. 22 is also in white tackle twill and boasts an attractive black marker autograph with his No. 22 inscription added; a second lighter signature appears also on the back on the white shoulder section near the back of the collar. The famed Maple Leafs also appear on each shoulder in blue tackle twill affixed to the white shoulders. Fair to say the jersey shows tremendous game use with stick marks and board burns both front and back but most noticeably with stick marks some staining cuts and numerous team repairs on the sleeves.

The accompanying Cooper blue helmet shows good game wear as well with all elements - including the interior padding and straps - problem free and without evidence of alteration. "Cooper SK2000" appears in white at the front of the helmet; much of the painted "Cooper" elements on each ear flap have been chipped away as has the about half of the CSA Hockey Helmet sticker behind the right ear. The "22" numbering is affixed to the back of the helmet.

Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from Tiger Williams and a Letter of Provenance from The Newport Sports Museum.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
