Here is a pair of game-worn Orioles road pants from legendary slugger Eddie Murray worn in his second season with the Orioles. One of those rare individuals whose Hall of Fame credentials were nailed down virtually in the first half dozen seasons of his career Murry was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2003 and was ranked 77th on the list of the Baseball's 100 Greatest Players by The Sporting News (1998). The back of the waistband has a strip tag with embroidered "33 78 24 3" and an adjacent Wilson tag with Size 32. There is some separation of the tag stitching from the left side though not a significant factor in presentation. The pants show good game use and are in fine condition with the pants zipper working and loss of the orange paint on the top snap and small partial loss on the lower one.
