1977 Chicago White Sox popular v-neck style home jersey game worn by 3rd baseman Eric Soderholm. Soderholm had one of his finest seasons in the majors his first year with Chicago hitting .280 with 25 HR and 67 RBI in 130 games. For his fine 1977 season Soderholm was named the American League Comeback Player of the Year by The Sporting News. White jersey with broad V-Neck collar in dark blue. "CHICAGO" individual Roman style font letters in the same dark blue sewn across the chest. "SODERHOLM" and large "12" in the same Roman style font sewn on back of jersey. Rawlings size 42 and "SET 1 1977" tags sewn inside back collar. The jersey is completely original and displays moderate to heavy game use with a few light stains and puckering of the letters and numbers. Very popular style 1970's jersey from one of the key "South Side Hitmen" who hit 16 of his 25 homers after the All-Star break to help keep the White Sox in the AL West pennant race well into September.
