Dave Parker had arguably the best three-year stretch of his career from 1977-79. He won the MVP in 1978, batting an MLB-best .334 with 30 homers and 117 RBI. The era of excellence for the Pittsburgh Pirates' right fielder culminated in the 1979 World Series title. 

 

Offered is Parker's Hillerich & Bradsby R161 bat used between 1977-79. The bat exhibits moderate use with a slight upper handle crack. His number 39, the number 2, and Parker's initials DP are written on the knob in blue marker. He autographed the front barrel in bold black Sharpie and wrote his number 39. PSA/DNA's bat experts gave the club a GU 9 for use, and PSA/DNA has authenticated the autograph. 

Payment for your invoice must clear in full prior to shipping. All items will be shipped from SCP Auctions’ Laguna Niguel, CA office in the order that payments are received. Please allow up to three business days following clearance of payment for items to ship. All items will be shipped UPS/FedEx Ground unless you contact us to discuss an alternative shipping method.
