Featured here is a rare Buffalo Braves game-worn road jersey from therookie season in 1977-78 of sharp-shooting guard Mike Glenn. Originallydrafted No. 23 overall by the Chicago Bullsin 1977 Glenn broke his neck in an off-season auto accident and wassoonreleased by the team. He made an amazingly quick recovery and was pickedup by the BuffaloBraves later that year. His first season was his only season with theBraves as he then played for the N.Y. Knicks Atlanta Hawks andMilwaukee Bucks finishing with a 7.6 career scoring average and ahighly efficient 54.2% field goal percentage that earned him thenickname "Stinger."

The blue fine-mesh shirt has "BUFFALO" across the front in whitetackle twill outlined in white with Glenn's No. 14 in the same fashionfront and back. His name appears across the back in white tackle twillaffixed directly to the shirt. Black and white elastic knit trim is onthe collar and yokes. Wilson Size 42 tagging appears on the inside lefttail. It shows solid wear overall but remains in outstanding conditiondespite the passage of four decades with slight fraying and lightpuckering on the number and letters.

Getty images (478993790 & 484627172) from 1978 could verywell be photo-matches especially considering how few sets were issued to NBAplayers in the 70's. This was the last road jersey style worn in the eight-year history of the Buffalo Braves franchise whose owner John Y. Brown oddly swapped teams in 1978 with Celtics owner Irv Levin who then promptly moved the Braves to San Diego where they took the name Clippers.
