1976 Boston Red Sox home jersey game worn and signed by popular Hall of Fame left fielder Carl Yastrzemski. "Carl Yastrzemski H O F 89" in written in 8/10 black felt tip pen across the front chest. Yastrzemski the 1967 American League Most Valuable Player and Triple Crown Winner played his entire 23 year career with the Boston Red Sox. Named to the All-Star Team 18 times Yastrzemski had a typical "Yaz" season belting 21 home runs and driving in 102 in 1976. He finished his career with 3419 total base hits. "RED SOX" in red with black trim sewn on the front of jersey with a large "8" sewn on back in the same red with black trim. Massachusetts Bicentennial patch sewn on left shoulder. McAuliffe Uniform Corp. tag sewn in back of collar. "1976" and washing instruction tags sewn in front tail. The "E" and "O" in Red Sox on the front have a little different look to them than the other letters and may have been restored. Jersey shows light to moderate game use. Hall of Fame jersey from one of the most popular players in Boston Red Sox history!
Includes a Letter of Provenance from The Newport Sports Museum.
