1500 Runs Batted In ranks a player among the elite run producers in baseball history. A player must be among the best run producers in the game for at least a decade in order to join the club. As of August 2015 there have been 53 players who achieved 1500 career RBIs. The charter member of the club was Cap Anson who reached the mark in the 1891 season. Anson became the first National League player to drive in 1500 runs during the 1893 season. On May 29th 1923 Ty Cobb became the first player to achieve 1500 RBIs in the American League.

Harmon Killebrew is currently tied for fortieth place in Major League history adding eighty-four more to his tally after he toted the presented Hillerich & Bradsby signature model S207 to the plate at Milwaukee County Stadium on May 7 1974 and proceeded to earn entry to this exclusive slugging brotherhood.

A signed letter from Twins clubhouse attendant Tom Jarzyna states in part "The Twins were playing at Milwaukee when Harmon hit his 1500th RBI and they announced it over the PA system. Harm came into the locker room between innings and quietly sat next to me pulled out a sharpie from his locker and proceeded to sign the bat in my name a gift to me from a very special man. Harm mentioned to me that he had cracked the bat on his 1500th RBI. This gift is just further evidence of his selflessness and only adds to his legacy as a man and ballplayer."

Killebrews blue sharpie inscription (9/10) on the barrel reads "To Tom All the Best! Harmon Killebrew 1500 RBI." An accompanying LOA from John Taube of PSA/DNA characterizes game use as "outstanding" noting ball marks stitch impressions cleat marks heavy pine tar and the aforementioned handle crack (since repaired). Measuring 34.75 inches and weighing 31.5 ounces the bat perfectly matches factory ordering records. Killebrews number "3" appears on the knob in vintage black marker. This easily ranks among the finest Killebrew bats in the hobby.

LOA from PSA/DNA (GU 9.5). Additional letter of provenance from Twins clubhouse attendant to whom bat is inscribed. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA (auto.).
