Here are a couple of standout vintage jerseys from nearly 50 years ago a home Minnesota gamer worn by Rich Reese and a Jerry Zimmerman road gamer. From Reese a solid first sacker for a decade from 1964-73 comes this blue pinstriped home gamer with Twins across the front in navy-on-red tackle twill. A Wilson Size 42 tag is at the left front tail with 67 Set 2 strip tag below. Another strip tag at the collar has Reese embroidered on it and black marker notations below it. His No. 35 is on the back in navy-on-red tackle twill and the famed Twins logo patch is on the left shoulder. Reese has provided a concise attractive blue marker autograph on the front left below the Twins script. The grey flannel Zimmerman gamer is a great companion piece with scripted Twins script on the front and Zimmermans No. 38 on the back in the same fashion as the Reese shirt. Zimmerman is embroidered to a white strip tag at the collar and in navy blue on the tail with 44 67 also in cursive below a Size 44 small tag. The Wilson tagging has seemingly been removed. A second wash tag appears beneath the Zimmerman script embroidery. Both shirts show good game wear and are problem free and without alteration of any description save for that removed Wilson tag mentioned earlier.
