Offered here is a pair of official match programs from the 1974 FIFA World Cup held in West Germany — both from Group 3 matches played at Niedersachsenstadion in Hannover.
The first program covers the June 15, 1974 Group 3 fixture between Uruguay and the Netherlands, a match the Dutch won 2-0 on their way to the final; the Dutch squad listed includes Johan Cruyff, Johan Neeskens, Rob Rensenbrink, Ruud Krol, and Wim van Hanegem.
The second program covers the June 19, 1974 Group 3 fixture between Bulgaria and Uruguay. Both programs share the same vivid green cover design featuring "Fußball-Welt-Meisterschaft 1974" in bold white text with a circular illustration of the Niedersachsenstadion in Hannover, and the respective matchup and game details at the foot of the cover.
Interior pages for both programs include the official team roster sheets with player names and birthdates, participating federation information for all 16 nations, World Cup historical results and top scorers tables, team photos, and local Hannover-area advertising. The Uruguay squad sheet for the Netherlands match lists Mazurkiewicz, Cubilla, Morena, Rocha, Esparrago, and others.
