An excellent 1973 Topps Baseball complete set that consists on 660 cards in total with very nice eye appeal. The '73 Topps set focused on included more action shots for the images on the cards rather than a simple portrait making for some true one-of-a-kind cards. This was also the last time that Topps issued a set as a series, making it the final entry to feature any 'high-numbered' cards.
The cards feature a black rectangular box that is encompassed by pearly white borders. The player images would be noticed inside the black rectangle. Black silhouettes accompany the player position on the bottom right corner.
Rookie cards of Davey Lopes, Mike Schmidt, and Ron Cey are included in the set as well as the final card for Willie Mays. Other notables include Roberto Clemente, Hank Aaron, Thurmon Munson, Nolan Ryan, and Rich ' Goose' Gossage to name a few. Overall the cards remain in good condition, mostly ranging from VG to EX with a few standout examples. A nice set from an important year of Topps Baseball.
