1971-72 Boston Bruins 14K White Gold Stanley Cup Championship Ring given to former team public relations legend Herb Ralby.
After being upset as defending champions by the Montreal Canadiens in the quarter finals in 1970-71 the Boston Bruins seemed even more determined to achieve their goal the following season and recapture the Stanley Cup. Meeting the Rangers in the finals for just the 2nd time since 1929 the Bruins would take New York 4 games to 2 behind Most Valuable Player Bobby Orr. Nine full-cut real diamonds at the center with "BOSTON BRUINS" above and "WORLD CHAMPIONS" below. 4 more real diamonds stand at each side. "H. RALBY" a small NHL logo "LEAGUE CHAMPIONS" and a raised image of the Prince of Wales trophy on one side. "1972" "STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS BOSTON 4 NY 2" and a raised image of the Stanley Cup and small NHL logo on the other. "Balfour 14K" stamped on the inside. Ring weighs 32.9 grams with the diamond weight at 1.10 ct. Ring size 10 3/4. Very desirable vintage Stanley Cup ring from the historic "original 6" Boston Bruins and one of Bobby Orr's most significant Stanley Cup victories make this a true treasure.
