Offered is a great piece featuring autographs from two of the most important figures in college basketball history: John Wooden and Bill Walton. The legendary coach may have been a bit unsure of his young charge when he arrived on the Brentwood campus amid the turbulent times of 1970 but four years and 86 victories later with a pair of NCAA Championships added to the unmatched record at UCLA from the previous decade and all doubts were erased. The seeming odd couple paired up in a fashion that was forced to confront defeat but a handful of times in Walton's tenure and indeed the Hall of Fame coach said farewell one year after his center's senior season in 1974. Walton hooked up with his former coach to sign this elegant 16-by-20-inch photo with Wooden signing in gold marker and Walton in black. Image is ornately framed and matted in blue and gold matting with additional presentations of two press pins and a metal plaque bearing their names. Polished wood frame with plexiglass brings the overall piece to 25-by-31 inches. The 1975 NCAA program on the occasion of Wooden's 10th and last NCAA title has a bold black Sharpie signature from Walton and added a "To Larry Good Luck" inscription. Comes with a Mint condition unused ticket from those Finals in San Diego. PSA cert# D43024 for Wooden/Walton 1971 dual-signed photo.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
