Few defunct leagues carry the cachet that the long-departed (and assimilated) American Basketball Association with everything from the patriotic red white and blue basketballs to the ever-so colorful and sometimes borderline cheesy uniforms commanding major dinero within the sports memorabilia hobby. With that introduction comes this blazing referee's jersey worn in the 1970's by veteran ref Joe Gashue. Inside the left rear tail is the Rawlings manufacturers tag with wash instructions and size M. At the left chest is the ABA basketball patch embroidered in red white and blue. On back is the referees number 11 done in white tackle twill on a large rectangular blue tackle twill background. The jersey is properly tagged and shows game use.
