This 1970 Topps #150 Joe Namath card has been graded PSA NM 7. Like other cards from the 1970 Topps football set, this issue's oversized format and wide bordering make it particularly susceptible to corner and edge wear, and high-grade survivors are notably scarcer than the set's print numbers might suggest. A PSA NM 7 grade reflects a card with strong eye appeal, clean surfaces, and modest corner softening that falls short of pristine but well short of heavy wear, free of creasing or major print defects. Namath, fresh off his iconic Super Bowl III upset victory and subsequent MVP and Hickok Belt honors referenced on the card's reverse, was at the peak of his cultural and on-field stardom at the time of this card's release. An NM 7 grade represents a clean, well above-average example of this widely collected quarterback card from the early 1970s.
