1970 San Diego Chargers blue jersey game worn and signed by quarterback John Hadl. Hadl had 22 touchdown passes and threw for 2388 yards with the Chargers in 1970. Large 21 in yellow with white trim applied front and back. Smaller 21 in yellow with white trim applied below thunderbolt designs on both sleeves. Yellow "HADL" on nameplate sewn on back. Sand-Knit size 46 and "Designed & Tailored Exclusively for the San Diego Chargers AMERICAN FOOTBALL CONFERENCE" tags sewn into front tail. Jersey exhibits light to moderate use.
Includes a letter of provenance from the Newport Sports Museum.
Because the signature is badly faded PSA/DNA did not offer an opinion.
