Dave Garcia was a coach scout and manager in Major League Baseball who spent over 65 years in the game. He served as manager of the California Angels (197778) and Cleveland Indians (197982) and compiled a career record of 307 wins and 310 defeats wearing this standout jersey in his arrival in the majors as a coach for San Diego in 1970. The garment features "PADRES" arched across the chest in a brown-on-gold felt-tackle twill blend and his No. 2 sewn to the back in like fashion. Brown and gold piping lines the collar and sleeve endings with a bit of wear to the gold stitching on the collar. Situated on the left front tail a laundering instructions tag is accompanied by a "SET 1 - #8P - 1970" flap tag and brown chain link stitching identifiers that read: "42 Garcia 2." Within the collar a "Rawlings" label showing some wear and fraying denotes size "42." Shirt shows light wear and boasts a truly impressive presentation.
