Six-time All-Star Bobby Grich was one of the top second baseman in the American League for more than a decade from the mid-1970's to mid-1980's. He set an all-time major league fielding record with a .995 fielding percentage and 12 seasons later in 1985 broke the record again (.997). He won four consecutive Gold Glove Awards appeared in the World Series in 1970 and 1971 and played in the ALCS in 1973 and 1974 when Baltimore lost to Oakland both times.

This Grich signed game-ready Baltimore Orioles home jersey dates to 1970. The white flannel Wilson size 44 "vest-style" shirt features light game wear and has a manufacturer tag on the front left tail underneath which is stitched "1970". The inside collar is signed by Grich (7-8/10) in blue Sharpie. The front of the jersey has "Orioles 16" in orange-on-black twill in the same fashion as "16" appears on reverse. "GRICH" appears on the reverse in black; black and orange braid decorates the collar and the sleeves.

Includes LOA from former Baltimore Orioles beat reporter and current Washington Nationals analyst Phil Wood. The letter explains in great detail that Grich likely did not wear the uniform in a game as he debuted late in the 1970 season after this O's jerseys style was no longer being used. The vest jerseys themselves are very rare with only about a dozen having seen the market up until this point. Apparently only one set was produced for each player. Getty 177153338 shows these vests in all their rarefied glory.
