Presented here is Jack Lamabe's game worn St. Louis Cardinals home jersey from the club's 1967 World Series Championship season. The right-handed pitcher was a solid contributor for the champs finishing 3-4 with a 2.83 ERA and four saves in 48 innings over 23 relief appearances on the season. His MLB career lasted seven seasons and would come to a close the following year with the Cubs. The off-white button-up jersey has the team's iconic red Cardinal on a yellow bat across the chest. Proper Rawlings tagging is found on the left front tail with a "1966 Set 1" flag tag. The shirt was originally worn by coach Joe Becker in the '66 season before Lamabe joined the team. Becker wore number 4 and you can make out both his removed uniform number and NOB within Lamabe's No. "23" and "LAMABE" in red felt on the back. This hobby-fresh flannel showing moderate wear and a few light stains remains very well-preserved. It was acquired by our consignor at an estate sale in Chicago.
