Excellent capture of Sandy Koufax in 1966 (his final Cy Young & farewell season) at Candlestick park warming up in his Los Angeles Dodgers uniform. The image shows Koufax winding up for a pitch with the crowd behind his and remains in great condition. The Russ Reed/Oakland Tribune original photograph has been deemed Type I by PSA/DNA and encapsulated in a jumbo holder. The rear has been stamped with "THE SPORTING NEWS" and "RUSS REED PHOTO DEPT. OAKLAND TRIBUNE." "JUNE 1966" and "CANDLESTICK PARK SF" have also been written on the rear in an unknown hand. A perfect fit for any Koufax-focus collection or Dodgers fan.
