Scarce beautiful 1966 San Francisco Giants phantom World Series Press pin features San Francisco landmarks including the Golden Gate Bridge with gold on black enamel "WORLD SERIES SAN FRANCISCO" and gold on white enamel "1966" below. Pin is totally original and looks to be in near perfect condition. In 1966 the Giants were eliminated from a potential tie atop the National League standings on the final day of the season when Sandy Koufax beat the Phillies 6-3 in the 2nd game of a doubleheader to clinch the pennant for Los Angeles. Comes in the original Balfour plastic case.
