Offered here is an exceptional pairing of the official ticket stub and souvenir program from the 1966 FIFA World Cup Final played July 30, 1966 at Empire Stadium Wembley—England vs. West Germany—graded PSA EX 5, one of only three examples in that grade with just two graded higher.
The vibrant royal blue program cover displays "World Championship Jules Rimet Cup – Final – England v West Germany – Saturday July 30 1966 – Empire Stadium Wembley" in bold lettering with an illustration of the Jules Rimet trophy against the Union Jack. Interior content is exceptional, including the complete Final Series squad rosters for all 16 nations, a portrait of Her Majesty The Queen as Football Association patron, and tournament match photographs and statistics. The program presents with bright color retention, minor spine and cover creasing, and page toning appropriate for its grade. England won the match 4-2 after extra time, with Geoff Hurst completing his legendary hat-trick to give England its only FIFA World Cup title.
The PSA-graded ticket stub (EX 5) accompanies the program, representing one of the finest known examples from football's most famous final. Population of 3 at this grade with only two graded higher makes this an elite collectible.
