The 13th NBA All-Star Game was played on January 16, 1963 at the L.A. Memorial Sports Arena. The East team would beat the West 115-108. Bill Russell was the MVP of the game.
Autographs include: Bill Russell (who at the time was a next to impossible autograph), Sid Borgia (NBA referee for the game) (D. 1999) He was considered one of the best refs of his time (in the league from 1946-64), Tom Meschery (in his only All-Star game), Tom Heinsohn (D. 2020) on the front and back covers.
Additionally, signed by Walt Hazzard (D. 2011, who was in his senior year at UCLA and would be the first pick by the Lakers in the draft) and USA track and field gold medalist Ralph Boston.
