1961 University of Cincinnati 10K Gold NCAA Basketball Championship ring presented to forward Tom Thacker the 3rd leading scorer on the team with a 12.3 points per game average. Thacker scored 15 points in the deciding game for the 1961 National Champions who downed an Ohio State team led by Jerry Lucas John Havlicek and Larry Siegfried by the score of 70-65 in the NCAA title game. Large red stone sits on top surrounded by "UNIVERSITY OF CINCINNATI 1961". "NCAA" and a raised image of their logo rests on both sides. Thacker's initials "T.P.T." are engraved inside the ring along with "10K" and the Josten's logo. Ring size 11 1/4. Weight 22 grams.
