Boyer was absolutely an All Star in 1961, batting .329 with 24 home runs and 95 RBI. For his efforts, he placed 7th in the MVP race. He would take the MVP award home three seasons later in 1964. This example is part of a rare high-grade set break of the 1961 Topps baseball set, as just two of the cards submitted to SGC have received a Gem Mint 10 grade.
