Card #307 belongs to the Mick. It honors his performance on October 6, 1960, when he homered twice in a 16-3 rout of Pittsburgh in Game 2 at Forbes Field. Mantle hit three home runs in the Series and was one of the Yankees’ most dangerous bats in a matchup New York dominated on paper yet lost in seven games.
