In his 22 year career, Al Kaline was recognized as one of the greatest right fielders in the game, with his rifle-accurate arm and potent bat earning him a spot in 18 All-Star Games. In 1968, he helped lead the Tigers to their first World Championship since 1945 and he’s wrap up his Hall of Fame career with a place in the 3,000 hit club. This Adirondack bat dates from the 1961-63 seasons in which Kaline hit a nice .315 and hit 75 of his 399 career home runs.

Kaline’s Adirondack '225K' Professional Model bat shows outstanding game use and is un-cracked. The right, left, and back barrel displays many ball marks and abrasions along with stitch impressions. The handle has a light coat of pine tar while Kaline’s number “6” has been handwritten on the knob end in faded red marker. The Hall of Famer has signed the barrel between the center brand and barrel stamping in black marker. Includes LOA from John Taube of PSA/DNA with near-perfect GU 9.5 grade. Autograph certified by PSA/DNA as well.
