In 1960 Look Magazine recognized the top collegiate football players in the land by creating its own All-America Football Team. This official Voit XF9 Football christened with Looks 1960 All America lettering in black was signed by several members of the team in various colors of ink including Merlin Olsen (Utah State) Roman Gabriel (N.C. State) Mike Ditka (Pittsburgh) Bob Lilly (TCU) John Hadl (Kansas) Joe Bellino (Navy) and Bill Kilmer (UCLA). Signatures are clearly legible and rate a 7-8/10.
Includes a letter of provenance from the Newport Sports Museum.
