Revered in Baltimore's Waverly neighborhood for 23 seasons Brooks Robinson remains a Charm City favorite to whom few can compare. A vital part of a franchise that logged baseball's best records through the 1960s and 1970s Robinson won a record sixteen Gold Gloves making the impossible look ordinary at the hot corner. Yet Brooks was also an underrated hitter good enough to launch 28 homers and drive in 118 runs in 1964 winning the American League MVP award for his efforts. The Hall of Famer used this bat circa 1960.

The Hillerich & Bradsby model O1S Brooks Robinson professional model bat shows evidence of heavy use with a U-shaped crack (approx. five inches) to the left of the label. Many ball marks and ball stitch impressions are visible on the front and left barrel. Cleat marks are visible on the right and left barrel. Also visible on the bat are red bat rack streaks and there is a light coat of pine tar on the mid handle. The handle has been scored to enhance the grip. The model number (O1S) is stamped into the knob and the weight (two 9's) is written on the knob in pen. A Brooks Robinson signature is on the right barrel in black marker. An impressive gamer with outstanding usage traits from Baltimores favorite son.

Includes a LOA from John Taube of PSA/DNA (GU 9). Autograoph pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
