Few players in the history of baseball have matched the accomplishments and consistency of Stan "The Man" Musial. In 22 seasons Musial knocked in 1951 runs good for fourth on the All-time list behind Aaron Ruth and Gehrig. Even fewer so engendered the admiration and affection of fans not only at home but in every ballpark on the circuit. For his very nickname "Stan the Man" was bestowed by Brooklyn fans that feared "that man" upon his arrival to Ebbets Field. As for his 22-year tenure with the Redbirds there's no specific era during which he peaked. Rather he was spectacular throughout his Hall of Fame career. This Hillerich & Bradsby Stan Musial professional model block-letter ("MUSIAL MODEL") M159 bat exhibits evidence of heavy use with a handle crack. Many prominent ball marks and deep ball stitch impressions are visible on all sides of the barrel. Cleat marks are visible on the left and back barrel. The model number (M159) is stamped into the knob. A Stan Musial signature and the added inscription 'My Game Bat' are on the front barrel in blue marker. An ideal Musial gamer in all respects.

Includes a LOA from John Taube of PSA/DNA (Graded GU8).
