Offered here is an exceptional pairing from the 1958 FIFA World Cup Final held on June 29, 1958 at Råsunda Stadium in Solna, Sweden — the match in which a 17-year-old Pelé announced himself to the world with two goals as Brazil defeated Sweden 5-2 to claim their first World Cup title. The lot consists of the official final program ("officiellt VM program · final 1958") together with the original ticket stub, still attached to the program.
The program features a striking color cover depicting the Brazilian and Swedish flags flanking a football against a cream background, with the match designation "Sverige – Brasilien" running vertically. Interior pages include the official team lineup sheet for both squads — showing Pelé, Garrincha, Didi, Vavá, and Zagallo for Brazil — extensive player profiles in Swedish for both nations, tournament tables through the semifinals, scoring leaders, and a full attendance record.
The attached ticket stub is printed in Swedish and reads "VM i Fotboll 1958 / Fotbollstadion Solna / 32 Final / Söndagen den 29 Juni 1958 KL 15.00 / Norra Ståplatsläktaren" with an original gold security band. The program cover shows creasing and light surface wear consistent with age; the interior pages are bright and legible. An irreplaceable document from the dawn of the Pelé era.
