Addendum: As a bonus, this set includes the #176b Gene "Bakep" error card graded PSA NM-MT 8 (OC). The qualifer seems a little harsh. We feel it deserves either NM 7 or at least Mint 9 (OC) based on its near-perfect corners, bright colors and smooth surface. The error version is not registered in PSA's system with the other 406 cards; only the #176a correct issue is.
Featured here is a high-grade set of 1957 Topps Baseball with 406 of the 407 cards in the basic checklist present. Every card is graded PSA NM-MT 8 or better. Missing is Mickey Mantle #95. Rookies include Frank Robinson, Brooks Robinso, Don Drysdale, Jim Bunning, Bill Mazeroski, Whitey Herzog, Rocky Colavito, Tony Kubek, Bobby Richardson and Clete Boyer. The impressive set, recently unretired on the PSA Registry, has a GPA of 8.0 and a set rating of 7.87 and ranks #26 on the current registry.
