Eye appealing GD PSA 2 Full unused ticket to the deciding Game 7 of the 1956 World Series between the Brooklyn Dodgers and New York Yankees played at Ebbets Field in Brooklyn on October 10 1956. Johnny Kucks pitched a 3 hit shut out the Yankees 3rd in a row to overcome a 3-1 deficit and Yogi Berra(2) Elston Howard and Bill Skowron(Grand Slam) supplied the power with home runs in the 9-0 route of the Dodgers. The 1956 World Series would feature Don Larsen's Perfect game and mark the final appearance of Jackie Robinson's Hall of Fame career. He would shortly be traded to the hated New York Giants by owner Walter O'Malley and retire to go into private business. Ticket displays much more higher than the given technical grade. It appears to be crease free with minimal corner wear. The main reason for the lower rating appears to be a small 3/8" by 1/2" very light tape stain on a white portion of the back. Hard to believe the only VG 3 rated higher by PSA could look better than this GD 2.
