There was no shortage of star power on display in the 1956 Midsummer Classic at Griffith Stadium in Washington D.C. The game featured home runs by four all-time legends -- Willie Mays Stan Musial Mickey Mantle and Ted Williams. Musial's two-run shot in the seventh put the NL ahead 7-3 the final score.
Presented here is a high-grade ONL (Giles) baseball featuring 31 members of the 1956 NL All-Star squad. Hall of Famers and keys include; Frank Robinson Ed Mathews Robin Roberts Ernie Banks Warren Spahn Ted Kluszewski Hank Aaron and Stan Musial. Autographs are mostly 8/10 on a minimally toned ball with one small spot stain on the west panel. Signatures of Alston Friend Labine Long Snider Walker Gilliam and Campanella have been deemed clubhouse. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
