Here are two stunning New York Knicks early programs from contests at the Garden both with spectacular images of legendary NBA Hall of Famers and stars including a cool blue sepia-toned image of the Rochester Royals' Maurice Stokes on the cover of the Feb. 21 1956 program (Knicks vs. Syracuse and Rochester vs. Fort Wayne 16 pages). That piece presents in mostly Ex-Mt but has a small tear on the back cover. The second program Knicks vs. San Francisco Warriors from Dec. 31 1963 is 24 pages printed in a kind of purplish sepia-tone and is arguably in better condition that the former but has been scored in pencil inside. Wilt managed a mere 42 points as the Warriors sailed past the home club 101-79 which pales in comparison to the 100 he scored against the Knicks a year earlier. Spectacular sepia-toned images of Chamberling Guy Rodger Art Heyman and Tom Gola among others are another highlight of the magazine.
